The London Organising Committee of the Games (LOCOG), the body in charge of the running of the Olympic venues has appointed Avondale to its Framework Agreement for various small works packages at the venues for the Olympic Test Events. Since its appointment in May 2011, Avondale has successfully completed a number of contracts it has secured under this Framework.

Our appointment to this Framework followed our successful pre-qualification and completion of an e-tendering process. Avondale are proud to be involved in this Framework and to in some way assist in the successful delivery of the Games in 2012. We share LOCOG’s key ambition to deliver an Olympic Games and Paralympic Games for everyone; a Games where everyone is invited, welcomed and encouraged to take part. In line with the above ambition, Avondale has undertaken the Diversity Works for London (DWfL) self assessment toolkits and continually monitors its processes to ensure our workforce is reflective of the communities we work within.
