The 366,000 ft² redevelopment of 1 Triton Square increases the lettable area by 127,000 ft² and includes 20,000 ft² of retail and leisure at ground floor and 10,000 ft² of the affordable workspace. Designed by architects Arup Associates, the eight-storey building will offer modern, flexible workspace around a large central atrium providing linkage between floors and creating a vibrant social hub. The redevelopment will also deliver four large roof terraces and incorporate sustainable and smart technologies to support mobility and collaboration across the group.
Avondale Construction Ltd works included:
1 Triton Square scaffold gantry welfare and office accommodation was unique in that, due to site constraints, this facility had to be constructed in-situ on the scaffold gantry (and to allow it to be dismantled in-situ also).
Single level office facility, with kitchen and tea point facilities and a meeting / induction space. Fully designed in-house in 3D and constructed by our directly employed tradesman, including the structure, envelope and full fit-out.
