CFBL Bilingual School

We have recently carried out the refurbishment to the exterior facade at the College Francais Bilingue De Londres, located in Kentish town, which is a traditionally brick built, slate clad hip roof three storey Victorian school.

The exterior facade refurbishments consisted of an exterior Doff clean to the existing stone plinths, facias and window surrounds, removal and replacement of defective stonework & replacement with matching stone or plastic repairs as required.

The exterior facade also required isolated removal & replacement of damaged brickwork along the main facade, including the replacement of special bricks to window reveals, in some instances we have also carried out structural repairs via stainless steel dowels.

All external windows have been redecorated and overhauled to allow proper functioning, via replacement of damaged, cills, staff & parting beads, with two windows being completely replaced.

The three parapet boxed gutters have received remedial works on the defective lead line gutters & associated flashings with isolated slate repairs at valleys and on the main roof.

The works were carried out during the schools summer recess, within an 8 week programme duration between July and August 2018, on time and within budget.
