Gunjan Sarda

Gunjan joined the Avondale team in April 2020. He is a qualified MBA with extensive experience in Financial and Management Accounting. He has over a decade of experience working within the Construction, Real Estate, Medical, and Healthcare sector. His highly driven commercial and financial acumen aspires him to make a difference.

Shema joined Avondale in early March 2020 as an Accounts Assistant. Although new to the Construction Industry, Shema has several years of experience working within finance departments in a plethora of sectors ranging from vehicle financing to recruitment.

Nick joined the Avondale team in 2003. A Quantity Surveying graduate from Nottingham Trent University in 1998, Nick joined Laing Construction which later became Laing O’Rourke, where he was involved in a number of prestigious projects including the Ian Simpson designed Urbis Centre, the Manchester Metrolink and the Greater Manchester Police Authority PFI Scheme.

A Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Nick is passionate about the Construction Industry and raising the profile of construction logistics. Nick is the driving force behind our continuous development of digital systems to assist with the management of logistical issues on construction sites. This includes the following systems which have been implemented on projects:

Site Tidy App
Security Patrol App
Fire Point Check App

Nick is currently working with his Team regarding the use of BIM data in the production of Material Logistics Plans for larger projects.

Debbie joined Avondale in September 2014 and deals with HR and training, having previously worked for a specialist guarding company. Debbie has a BA (Hons) in Education as well as qualifications in BS7858 Vetting and Screening, PTLLS and an SIA CCTV certificate.

Gerry started with Avondale in 1991 as a Site Engineer and has progressed to the Company’s Operations Manager. Gerry is on the Senior Management Board and works closely with the Managing Director to ensure the Company’s management systems are implemented on all projects and Client satisfaction is achieved.

Gerry strong’s technical skills and his ability to provide solutions for our clients’ logistical and construction issues have established his reputation as a professional, capable and valued member of staff. Blue chip projects which he has managed during his time with Avondale include:

Adrian has worked for Avondale as a consultant since 2012. Adrian trained as a Quantity Surveyor with Trafalgar House and has been in the Construction Industry for over 30 years mainly in the specialist Trade Contractor field.

Adrian has assisted the Managing Director with the Company’s move into large-scale event overlay works. Avondale were LOCOG’s Small Works provider before, during and after the 2012 London Olympics and have since worked on a number of large sporting events assisting with the overlay, site co-ordination and Health & Safety Management for these fast-track and complex events. Adrian has been a key member of the management team who have assisted our Clients deliver these projects.

Avondale is keen to assist our Clients at the earliest stage possible on a project where we can add the most value. Kane leads the Pre-Construction and estimating services we offer to our Clients including: –
Production of Logistics Management Plans, Spatial planning and design of Welfare Facilities, Swept-Path Analysis, Fire Plans and Construction Logistics Plans.

Kane has MCIOB Chartership and has completed a MSc in Construction Project Management and BIM.

Leon joined Avondale in 2023 as a Business Administrator

Mirka joined Avondale in 2016 as an Accounts and Payroll Assistant, having previously worked as Sales Ledger assistant for three years. Mirka has a well-rounded background in accountancy and is very studious and constantly looking to learn new things.
