AVONDALE REINSTATES ACADEMY FOR CONSTRUCTION TRAINING

A warm welcome to Harvey Ringwood, one of our five new Construction Trainees to join Avondale Construction Ltd. Avondale recently relaunched our in house academy for construction training. The scheme is 1 week intensive training programme and the aim is to locally employ up to 5 construction trainees per month through working closely with London charities, support agencies and social enterprises like the Camden Build and Camden Pathways Project.

On completion, all candidates are offered full time employment with Avondale Construction working on their sites across London. Throughout the training, candidates are mentored by Avondale staff to ensure they are supported and to instil the organisations key values, vision and mission. Once on site the mentoring continues with fortnightly visits to ensure they are progressing in their roles and responsibilities.
