Project Description: We recently carried out the refurbishment to the exterior facade at the College Francais Bilingue De Londres, located in Kentish town, which is a traditionally brick-built, slate-clad hip roof three storey Victorian school. The works were carried out during the school’s summer recess, within an 8-week programme between July and August 2018.

Project Highlights: Our scope encompassed extensive specialist work on the facade and exterior of the existing structure. This included detailed Doff cleaning of stone plinths, fascias, and window surrounds, alongside the careful removal and replacement of defective stonework and brickwork on the main façade. We also focused on window reveals, replacing special bricks and reinforcing structural integrity with stainless steel dowels. Our work extended to remedial actions on the three parapet boxed gutters, associated flashings, and isolated slate repairs at valleys and the main roof, achieving a thorough restoration of the building’s exterior.
