Project Description: Avondale carried out the Site Co-ordinator role at Twickenham stadium for England 2015, managing the interfaces between the RFU, Marriott Hotel, Virgin Active, and the various stakeholders during the new Overlay installation in preparation for the Rugby World Cup. Following this we remained on site to manage the de-construction of these works.

Project Highlights: The overlay of the Stadium in preparation for hosting Rugby World Cup fixtures involved the delivery of significant Temporary Demountable Structures (TDS) to cater for hospitality packages. This was a very rewarding, fast-track project, and an example of where we used our Delivery Management System (DMS) and daily logistics meetings to ensure the Overlay was delivered to tight timescales and existing stakeholders’ operations were allowed to continue without disruption to their daily operations.
