Project Description: In preparation for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium underwent a major renovation to deliver ‘Legacy’ elements for the stadium which included a new West stand, a new track and warm-up area, and a new Northern Plaza.

Project Highlights: Avondale were onsite at Alexander Stadium during the coronavirus pandemic and, in addition to the introduction of various social distancing and anti-viral countermeasures, Avondale constructed and operated a comprehensive onsite COVID-19 testing facility.
