Project Description: RAF Woodbridge is a military site located near the town of Woodbridge, in Suffolk, England. Originally constructed as an RAF airfield, it was later used by the United States Air Force. The site closed in August 1993 and was renamed MOD Woodbridge, reopening in 2006, it is now operated by the British Army and incorporates both Rock Barracks, home to the 23rd Engineer Regiment of the Royal Engineers, and Woodbridge Airfield which is used periodically by helicopters of the Army Air Corps aircraft for training exercises.
